District launching website for Middies athletics
Source: Middletown Journal, OhioAug.迷你倉價錢 23--MIDDLETOWN -- The Middletown school district is moving to a centralized website for athletics that will serve as a one-stop shop for the community and district families.Gary Lebo, Middletown athletic director, said the district has contracted with Varsity News Network to create and host the website -- .middletownmiddies.com -- that will include schedules, photos, articles, statistics and scores. The website will launch later this fall.Lebo said the district will pay just one $800 fee for set-up and design of the site, and will eventually earn revenue from the website through advertising and traffic counts."We will be able to communicate better with everyone," Lebo said. "It will be linked to Facebook and Twitter."Lebo said training seminars will soon be scheduled for the coaching staff at Middletown to utilize the website. Features such as the program Schedu迷你倉庫e Star will automatically update the website when coaches make an adjustment."This will save time for the coaches," Lebo said.Middletown has approximately 800 student athletes. Nearby schools, including Middletown Christian and Lakota East and West high schools, have also started using the module by Varsity News Network.Rich Bryant, athletic director at Lakota East, said the Lakota district has been using the company's website for about six months.
